Jake Minton is a teacher, dad, and songwriter based in Dallas, Texas. "What is Joy?", his album for kids and their favorite grown-ups blends humor, heart, and imagination to explore big feelings like joy, courage, and connection.

Inspired by heroes like Fred Rogers, Ella Jenkins, and Raffi, and drawing on his decades of experience working with young children, Jake writes songs that invite families to sing and laugh along, and grow together.
